Open the Play Store from the Launcher.

Browse apps by category there, or use the search box to find a specific app for your Chromebook.

The Chrome OS 53 version is a developer only update, so you will have to switch your Chromebook from Stable to Developer channel in order to get Play Store on Chromebook.
